NSB CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
DETAILED AND HISTORICALLY ACCURATE RESTORATION OF 1930’S ART DECO BUILDING DESIGNED WITH PECKY CYPRESS, COQUINA, RAISED WOOD PANELING AND ORIGINAL LIGHT FIXTURES. IT WAS ORIGINALLY BUILT BY FUNDS FROM THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY RELIEF ADMINISTRATION (FERA).
ORANGE AVENUE
THIS ACCOUNTING OFFICE WAS ORIGINALLY BUILT IN 1913 AS A CHURCH. THIS ADAPTIVE REUSE PEELED BACK LAYERS OF RESTORATIONS AND THE ORIGINAL WINDOWS SHAPES WERE RESTORED, SIDING FAITHFUL TO THE ORIGINAL WAS INSTALLED, COFFERED CEILINGS WERE REPAIRED AND INTERIOR BEAD BOARD WAINSCOTING AND WOOD FLOOR RESTORED.
SMYRNA YACHT CLUB
THIS HISTORIC BUILDING’S FUNCTIONAL PROBLEMS WERE CORRECTED WHICH PROVIDED THE OPPORTUNITY TO REDESIGN THE ENTRY. THE NEW ENTRY DRAWS THE MEMBERS INTO A VESTIBULE SHELTERED FROM THE WEATHER AND DESIGNED WITH THE ORIGINAL ARCHITECTURAL VOCABULARY.
